Women of the Word (W.O.W.) Ladies Bible Study is an interdenominational Bible study for women of all ages who desire a closer walk with the Lord through the knowledge of His Word. W.O.W. is facilitated in a small group setting with women studying the Word of God, seeking its truths. Our objective is not only to gain knowledge of God’s Word but also to apply the knowledge obtained to transform our lives.
Beginning September 11, we will introduce a study of the book of Philippians using a guide entitled “Discovering the Joy of Jesus” by Stonecraft Bible Studies. “Discover God’s gift of joy – a way to live above your circumstances, whether good or bad – a way to live close to God, who loves you.” “The study of Philippians can be life altering for you if you will open your heart to what God wants to teach you.” In the new year, starting January 15, 2019, we will study the Gospel of Mark – “Following Jesus Through Mark.”
W.O.W. Ladies Bible Study meets on Tuesday mornings from September 11, 2018 through May 7, 2019 with time off for the holidays from November 20 through January 8. We meet from 9:25 a.m.-11:15 a.m. with refreshments available at 9:15 a.m. Our time together includes building community through sharing and prayer, discussing the Bible lesson within a small group setting, and joining in a large group setting for singing, sharing, prayer, and a message from one of our excellent teachers.
Childcare: A childcare program is provided for preschool children from birth to age five. More than babysitting, children are taught the Word of God in a loving environment.
Registration Information: Registration will be open in the Church Atrium on August 26, September 2, and September 9 and at the downstairs entrance on September 11 and 18. There is a fee of $15 for registration each semester. Scholarships are also available. Enrollment will be open throughout the year. Women from all denominations and faiths are welcome to attend.
In the event of inclement weather, W.O.W. Ladies Bible Study will be cancelled if Novi Public Schools are closed. Check with your favorite radio or television news station for school cancellation information.
