Journey Youth will be heading to the Windy City for our Chicago Mission Trip July 13 – 19. This opportunity is open to students in grades 6 -12. We will be focusing on serving the community of Chicago while building relationships with a partner church. We will be going through an organization called Praying Pelicans. Our hope is that our students will take this opportunity to grow and see the world differently as they serve those less fortunate than themselves.
DATES: July 13 – 19, 2024
WHERE: Chicago, Illinois
LODGING: We will stay with a host church. They will not have bunks so we will be sleeping on the floor. Make sure your student brings whatever they need to sleep on the floor at the church.
PURPOSE: To provide students the opportunity to minister to others. To build into them the desire and confidence that they can make a difference in the world by serving Jesus Christ.
COST: $200 (There will be fundraising opportunities available)
