On Maundy Thursday, April 1 at 7:00 pm, we will gather in the Sanctuary or online to commemorate Jesus’s last supper with his disciples. During that meal, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command.”
We will partake in Holy Communion at this service. If you are joining us from your home, be prepared to take communion with us. Please have juice and crackers or bread ready so we can remember together Christ’s death on the cross; the sacrifice which paid the price for all our sins. Please have a piece of paper on hand as well.
