About

Did you know that Hilltop Church has been a supporter of For The Children / Royal Family Kids for almost 20 years?

For The Children / Royal Family Kids is the nation’s leading network of camps and mentor clubs for children of abuse, abandonment and neglect who have been placed into foster care. RFK offers these children a chance to just be a kid and enjoy a week of summer camp filled with games, activities, and joy.

We are looking for dedicated, committed, volunteers (18 and older) who want to make a difference by helping at camp in August.  Sign up to volunteer and help a child experience the love of Jesus this summer.

For more information contact Marsha Malec at malecmarsha@gmail.com .

IMPACT

Who it impacts and why it matters

Can one week really make a difference?

YES! We can’t make the difference for every child who has been abused, neglected, or abandoned, but we have seen the dramatic impact that a single week of camp can make in the life of an abused child. It happens over and over again. You can make a difference for one, a few, or many.

Through volunteering at this summer’s camp, you can play a huge part in changing the trajectory of a child’s life. Applications, interviews, and mandatory training are required to participate in camp. Applications for this serving opportunity will be accepted in the spring.

Making An Impact

Our camp is part of a growing network with over 200 camps across the U.S. and globe designed for children in the foster care system. Through the modality of Trust Based Relational Intervention. We are dedicated to providing unconditional love, hope, and safety to these special children.
